You did it. National Partnership supporters help achieve a critical victory for children's health.
The National Partnership and its supporters joined coalition partners in the successful fight for expanding access to the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP).
CHIP expands coverage to even more families in need while adding critical provisions (written and defended by the National Partnership) to improve the quality of pediatric care. After being vetoed twice by President Bush, the Children’s Health Insurance Program Reauthorization Act was signed by President Obama on February 4, 2009.
