McCullen et al. v. Martha Coakley

Challenge to a Massachusetts law prohibiting protests within 35 feet of abortion clinics. In February 2012 the U.S. District Court upheld the law. In January 2013 a three-judge panel of the 1st Circuit Court of Appeals affirmed the District Court’s decision. On June 24, 2013, the U.S. Supreme Court agreed to hear the case, and oral arguments took place on January 15, 2014.
